Work Example

USAID/Forest Stewardship Council Indigenous Foundation (FSC-IF): Indigenous Peoples’ Organizations Case Studies on Leadership Study across Areas in Africa, Asia, and Latin America<

QQ carried out case studies with Indigenous Peoples’ Organizations (IPOs) in Africa (Kenya), Asia (India), and Latin America (Guatemala, Honduras, and Panama). The goal of this original research is to better understand the concepts of leadership and management within IPOs and their communities with respect to five domains: General Leadership Styles, Climate Change, Women/Gender, Youth, and Elders. Qualitative data collection includes interviews and/or group discussions with those in leadership positions in IPOs in the respective countries. To ensure the research and findings were grounded in prioritizing and understanding the cosmovision and representation of Indigenous peoples, QQRC co-facilitated the project with Indigenous Partners familiar with each region or country of focus.
