Shelby Andersen-Holt is a Research Analyst who collaborates with foundations, government agencies, and community-based organizations to evaluate the effectiveness of social programs and public initiatives. She brings a strong background in social work and research to help ensure that programs reflect the experiences and insights of those delivering and engaging in them.
Shelby specializes in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including the development of Theories of Change, complex data analysis, and the design and facilitation of stakeholder-driven evaluations. With more than nine years of experience, Shelby has contributed to a wide range of projects, including workforce training, juvenile justice initiatives, early childhood education, emergency housing, urban agriculture, and higher education. Her work spans both domestic and international contexts, with qualitative fieldwork experience in Guatemala and Greece. At QQ, Shelby has led evaluation and learning projects for clients such as the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the Forest Stewardship Council Indigenous Foundation, the Broward County Health Services Department, and The Miami Foundation.
Shelby holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
