Taylar is a Research Analyst who supports organizations dedicated to impacting communities’ health outcomes using various quantitative and qualitative methodologies. She recognizes the importance of social factors in the influence of population health. Taylar has led the evaluation efforts of various projects dedicated to improving the overall health and living conditions, including the City of Miami Gardens’ REACH (Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health) project and Senior Needs Survey, the Florida Department of Health’s Live Healthy Miami Gardens Health Equity Project, and the Broward County Human Services Department. She also provides support in improving health equity for patients across Florida to ensure families and community members have both the access and opportunity to attain quality healthcare through the Florida Blue Foundation’s Health Equity Train-the-Trainer program.
Taylar has published peer-reviewed scholarly articles and has several poster presentations for scientific meetings both at the regional and national levels. She is skilled in SPSS, Excel, SAS advanced statistical methods. She holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology with a certificate in Social Determinants of Health from Columbia University and a bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Central Florida.
