Savannah Smith is a Research Analyst who works with government agencies and non-profits to understand the impact of their programs on local and international communities through thoughtful analysis. Savannah believes in promoting global cooperation, cultural understanding, and advocating for vulnerable communities through the lenses of education, research, and policy action.
Savannah has secured multiple opportunities early in her career that shaped her values, including at a political consulting firm, the U.S. Department of State, and in a U.S. Senate office. During her time as a Research Analyst at Q-Q Research Consultants, she has solidified and diversified her skillset, including leading projects in the U.S. and internationally with clients such as The Children’s Trust Miami, the City of Miami Gardens’ REACH (Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health), the United States Institute of Peace, and the International Republican Institute. She is experienced leading project teams, facilitating focus groups, and conducting thorough qualitative analysis. As a graduate student, she collaboratively produced a book publication that focuses on the educational experiences of refugees and at-risk migrants in the D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area.
Savannah holds a master’s degree in International Education from the George Washington University, a bachelor’s degree International Studies and Political Science from Randolph-Macon College, and a Certificate in International Studies from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
